On 3rd March Google released Gesture Search , a strong and experimental feature for touch phones running Google Android v2.0 and above. In this experimental feature gestures are used to open up bookmarks and contacts. All you have to do is to open up the device and draw letters. If you draw H, you will get contacts starting with H, not only this you will get all the applications and bookmarks that start with “H”.If you draw another letter , then it finds specific contact, bookmark or app. One drawback with any touch application is that sometimes it fails to understand what we have written. In their official statement Google have highlighted how this Gesture Search can be a very good option for those who may not want to type stuff or even hate voice. As the device is small, it might take quite a lot of time to type in stuff and even lots of people are not comfortable at this.
This Gesture Search is expected to get good amount of downloads as this is available for free.
